Cities Sounds

Up through my bedroom windows
comes the morning sounds.
Honking taxis, honking cars,
Buses going round.
Red lights, Yellow lights,
Green lights for GO.
People laughing, People shouting
What they want to know.
Underneath the cities,
rumbling underground
Bellows the subway trains
going into town.
People walking, people talking
places up and down.
People singing, bells a ringing
all across the town.
Up through my bedroom windows
comes the morning sounds,
comes the morning sounds.
